Halloween 2007 Edition

So we just finished Halloween and I have to say: I am all Halloween-ed out! We went to a Haunted House last Saturday with our friends Mike and Maridee. We left slightly disappointed. I mean, this guy over here was the scariest dude there. Nonetheless, all of us agreed that it was entertaining. And let's be honest, I'll take entertainment over real nightmares any day!

Our other Halloween activities included carving a pumpkin. The school that I work at had a field trip to a pumpkin patch. We discovered that this pumpkin patch had WONDERFUL pumpkins. In fact, I sent Daniel over there to pick out one pumpkin and he came back with three! He told me that they were just such a good deal and one of them was free. We gave one away, carved one and are still deciding what to do with the other one. Any suggestions? Well here's a picture of our carved pumpkin!


And last but certainly not least: our costumes. Our costumes were a hit this year. Daniel dressed up as Slash from the band Guns 'N Roses and I dressed up as Mad Scientist or "the Witch Doctor". If you want explanations as to how, what, or why? You're just gonna have to call us because this blog post is already too long for my taste. But here are some pictures! Peace!
