Marriage Woes

So Daniel and I haven't been seeing eye-to-eye lately. I never realized that we had so many STRONG opinion differences. This all came to light around May 4th. We would discuss things, then the face off would ensue and most of the time, my team would win.

By the way, I'm talking about sports. Daniel is a Jazz Fan while I stand by my LA Lakers. These two teams faced each other during the recently ended Second Round of the NBA Playoffs. So you can see how this can disrupt our marital homeostasis.

The problem with a spouse cheering for the other team is that when one team wins, you can't celebrate for fear of offending your dearest loved one. So I tried to ignore it by savoring a victory by another one of my favorite teams: the Angels. The Angels played the Dodgers this weekend and won!
However, it was not such a celebration as it was a foot-in-mouth exercise while Daniel pointed to his Dodger shirt that he was wearing. Here we split ways AGAIN!

Although sports will never be the same for me, I think that I'll have to become a quieter fan. But it's really hard when the Lakers had their first big win on the road in Salt Lake City! At least we'll always have BYU to cheer for together!
